<div>We have an update! It's been a long road, and with the awesome advent of Charlie waking up, he is finally in the process of getting the trach removed, and subsequently the stomach tube, praise God!. He is so ready to fill his tummy with some good food.
</div>
<div>It is with a heavy heart that I share with you the news of my husband Charlie, the father of our 3 amazing children, and sole provider's sudden, tragic medical emergency. On July 15, 2025, my sweet Charlie suffered a large stroke due to a blood clot in his right carotid artery, which traveled so deeply into the brain that they are stating that it cannot be removed, yet through God all is possible. He also has a pituitary tumor that has also suffered a stroke, and it's bulging, causing tremendous pressure on his ocular nerve. He is currently on life support with staff (MRSA) in his trach. He is responding with some movement, has opened his eyes, and grasped our hand.

<div>Our 13-year-old son, who is on the spectrum, underwent corrective surgery on both feet to correct his toe walking on July 22, 2025. We opted out of disability on our insurance to make it more affordable to cover the whole family. Charlie has 16 hours of PTO pay remaining as of August 8, 2025. This GoFundMe is intended to keep a roof over our heads, keep us close to Charlie, and have a home for Charlie to return to. Our oldest daughters are alternating staying with their Dad at the hospital while I take care of our son, who just had foot surgery, and now wears orthotic boots on each foot. We come to you today in hopes that you'll find it in your heart to help our family through this extremely trying time. By the grace of God, anything is possible. We are praying for a miracle.
