<div>My name is Sam Sem. I’ve lived in America for over 40 years, originally arriving as a refugee from Cambodia. My family and community made great sacrifices to help me escape the tyranny of the Khmer Rouge and build a new life in the United States.

<div>Today, I have a wonderful family and a caring community here in the U.S. We are deeply concerned about the recent crisis unfolding between Thailand and Cambodia. I wanted to share an opportunity with those I know—and others who have a heart for helping those in need.

<div>More than 300,000 Cambodian citizens have fled the Cambodian-Thai border, driven from their homes by a conflict they have no power to stop. They’ve lost everything.

</div>

<div>I’ve been actively helping not only my own family, but also many others in the affected communities. While I hope this is only a temporary crisis, the reality is that thousands are now living in tents in the jungle, uncertain how long they’ll be displaced.

</div>

<div>Rather than wait for others to take action, <strong>I felt compelled to do what I could—immediately.</strong>

</div>

<div>With the help of my family, we’ve built a small but effective network to deliver basic necessities—such as clothes, food, and temporary shelters—to as many people as possible.

</div>

<div>Today, I’m humbly asking for any support you might be able to offer. I understand these are uncertain times for many, and I’m not asking for much. But even the smallest contribution can go a long way in making a real difference for someone who desperately needs help.
