hey lovely people, our sweet little cavoodle, Luna who has just turned 6 on the 29th of march, has been diagnosed with Immune-Mediated Hemolytic Anemia (IMHA) — a life-threatening condition where her immune system is attacking her own red blood cells. Since her diagnosis 3 weeks ago, Luna has been bravely fighting through countless vet visits, hospital stays, 3 blood transfusions, and a heavy schedule of medications.

Despite everything and being so young into her life, Luna has continued to show her strong fight for her battle - she still wags her tail, eats her favourite chicken and steak, and greets us with her bright eyes and gentle love. However her road to recovery is far from short. Her treatments, medications, and frequent blood tests have already amounted to thousands, and we’ve been told there may be more transfusions and specialist care ahead.
