A City in Ruins

On February 24, 2022, Russia invades Ukraine.

Russian troops are pushing in from all sides of Ukraine and entering the capital of Kyiv.

From the first day of the invasion to now, residential apartments, kindergartens full of children, and the capital city is under attack and rained with missiles.

As the airstrikes continue, the city is filled with sirens and explosions.

A place once so full of life turns into a battlefield in just a few days.

In an instant, 150,000 people lost their homes.

According to Ukraine's Ministry of Health, 198 people, including three children are killed, and 1,115 injured.

Civilian casualties increase as war persists, and we do not know when this war will end.

Ukrainian citizens are fleeing to find refuge and escape crossfire.

Neighboring countries have opened their borders for Ukraine, and about 150,000 Ukrainian refugees have found refuge in Poland and Hungary.

However, even at this very moment, there are many who cannot evacuate due to flight and road blockage.

Ukrainians who have resorted to taking shelter in underground parking lots and subway stations are paralyzed in fear, hoping for airstrikes to end.

War’s greatest victims are children. Help us protect our children!

About 400,000 people in eastern Ukraine are experiencing severe food shortages, while the damage continues to grow.
