Donate in Memory of Franco Frassetti

Franco Frassetti, 76, was an USMC Vietnam Veteran and Award-Winning Professional Photographer who passed away on February 11, 2025 after bravely battling brain cancer.

Franco immigrated to Brooklyn, NY from Calabria, Italy when he was 14 years old. He was extremely proud of his culture and celebrated it in every way - through food, soccer, religion, and capturing the precious times life offered. He was an entrepeneur, opening Franco's Photo Studio and Precious Times.

Franco was diagonsed with Stage IV metestatic prostate and colon cancer in November 2023. For the eight months of his chemotherapy, his smile never faultered. In July 2024, he received the greatest news: he was free of cancer. He continued laughing and smiling through the summer and fall, celebrating birthdays and swapping stories with loved ones.

Unfortunately, on New Years Day 2025, his family was informed that the cancer returned and found its way to the brain. Although the decline was rapid, Franco was surrounded by loved ones every day, his smile never faultering. He passed peacefully at home, and will be greatly missed.
