It is with a heavy heart that I share with you the very sad news that Andrea Nelson has passed. I know that she was viewed by you as one of the kindest and most helpful colleagues. Since the summer of 2021 she was the driving force behind HR and facilities for the US and Canada. She made sure that all the new employees in US and Canada felt welcome and part of the family. Andrea’s love for the mission of the company was deep and everything she did was intended to help it thrive.

As you may know, Andrea was diagnosed with breast cancer about two and a half years ago. She received aggressive treatment, but the disease returned last autumn. Andrea had an incredible attitude toward her disease and fought fearlessly. Somehow, she maintained her positive attitude throughout the ordeal, continuing to work every day; spend time socially with friends; and volunteer at the animal shelter. She lived to the fullest. Yesterday, she lost her battle, surrounded by loved ones. We all will miss her dearly and the world will be a little less joyful.

Andrea is survived by her husband Kris and her beloved dog Smudge. We send our deepest condolences to Kris and Andrea's loved ones.
