<div>We are sharing some devastating news in the hope that everyone who has followed Tofik Beshir on his cycling journey will help get him through this trying time.

<div>On Thursday, October 8, Tofik was involved in a head-on collision on a gravel road while on a ride near Lees-McRae. His injuries are serious and his recovery will be long. To date, he has received excellent medical care and will continue to require ongoing treatment.

<div>All funds raised will be administered through a medical trust specifically designated to support Tofik's treatment and recovery. Our goal is to reach $200k in donations; this ceiling may rise as Tofik's situation develops. Thank you for your contribution and ongoing support!
