I'm a mom, wife, and grandma. I've had Multiple Sclerosis for 25 years and had uterine cancer 3 years ago. Now I've had another medical emergency. I have a hernia wrapped around my esophagus that caused my stomach and colon to get twisted up in my chest (rare). The doctor did emergency surgery to save my stomach and pin it back in place ( which is a temporary fix) while they try to find a surgeon to fix the damage. This is a risky surgery close to my heart and finding a surgeon has been difficult. I will need to travel, possibly fly to another state to have surgery, which will be costly for myself and my family to travel and take off work for my lengthy recovery time. I am raising money for medical expenses and travel expenses.
