My best friend, Idil Hussein, has been struggling with illness since she immigrated to the United States. She has reached the age of 28 this year and has been battling for her life the last 2 years with gastroparesis and type 1 diabetes complications. She has beaten thyroid cancer, graduated from college, and fought for progressive causes for marginalized people through art, writing, and advocacy. She is currently bedridden and unable to work to support herself, or pay for medical services. Please help me pay for her GPOEM procedure to improve her medication-resistant gastroparesis so she can get her life back.
