When it rains, it pours…

This is Georgie, he is the second kitty in the last month that I trapped to fixed who has painful dental issues and needs surgery for missing/broken teeth. As you can imagine, this is a very painful condition for him, and can become progressively worse. He’s a sweet, but shy kitty, and a hefty boy at 10 lbs. He is only a year old (I’ve seen him around since he was a kitten) but they said his teeth were more like of a 7 year old cat, so his condition is progressing quickly. I would like to be able to get him the dental care that he needs so he can go on to live a happy, pain free life as a chilled out fixed boy kitty.

As many of you know, I’ve been doing cat rescue/trap/neuter/return and care for many “community cats” in my area. I’ve fixed over 20 cats on my street alone which has made a huge dent in preventing unwanted litters and found homes for 5 abandoned kitties/kittens. I pay for all of my own traps, supplies, kitty food, and medical care when needed, because I see it as a donation into the community and to help the kitties. But, when they needed some more involved care or surgeries sometimes I need some help in order to help make sure they can get what they need.

Thanks to everyone who helped with “Hydrox” and his dental care! I hate to ask again for help, especially so soon, but I don’t want to have to release him without getting help. I don’t expect his costs to be as high as Hydrox, and I’ll cover as much as I can.
