The scales of justice are still tilted, favoring against some of the ones who are currently incarcerated unjustly.

Elron Cathey is a son, brother, father and friend who stands convicted of a crime he did not commit. If you understand firsthand the importance of fairness and justice, you must also be aware that there are margins of error within the criminal justice system.

Oftentimes, people who are not from a location of structural advantage, wealth or privilege are left in prison, denied legal assistance or forgotten about.

Elron Cathey has been incarcerated for approximately 18 years. The charges most certainly don't match the crime. Elron, was involved in what appears to be a case without merit. In this case, the victim stated that Mr. Cathey was not the perpetrator of this crime. This information from the victim has also been sent forward to the authorities.

Mr. Cathey would like to raise enough funds to obtain proper legal counsel again. Many times during his incarceration, he has been underrepresented.
