Donate A Miracle Van Fund

Howdy y'all

This is volunteer Hannah Smith on behalf of Lyz Farrar. She doesn't much like asking for help, but I've talked her into letting me ask on her behalf today.

Lyz's Kia was stolen. The police found it yesterday- it appears to have been taken for a joyride that ended in it being wrecked. It is becoming increasingly clear the insurance company may not cover this incident.

Lyz owns and operates the iconic thrift store Donate A Miracle as well as its sister nonprofit SAKS Outreach which supplies elderly community members with basic toiletries. She collects and distributes donations, runs errands, and much more out of her personal vehicle.

Our community must come together to help out this sweet woman in the face of such a senseless theft. All proceeds will go towards purchasing a van that is capable of moving the donations and people needed for the operation of Donate A Miracle and SAKS. Any proceeds beyond the cost of the vehicle will be used towards SAKS.
