Sin embargo, ese recurso se ha agotado y hoy nos es imposible financiar de la misma manera la segunda operación que necesito con urgencia: una craneoplastia para colocar una prótesis protectora.

<div>Vivir con una parte del cerebro expuesta no es un tema de estética. Mi doctor me explica que, sin esa placa, la presión atmosférica actúa sobre mi cerebro como si un puño lo estuviera presionando constantemente. Esto me causa cambios de humor, una fatiga extrema y una intolerancia absoluta al calor. Además, cualquier golpe, por mínimo que sea, representa un peligro mortal.

He regresado a trabajar, pero mi cuerpo aún tiene límites: solo puedo trabajar a un 75% de mi capacidad, pues después de 4 horas el cansancio me obliga a detenerme. Mi madre, que tiene 82 años, ha sido mi gran apoyo, pero debido a su edad ya no puede trabajar al ritmo necesario para cubrir estos gastos médicos extraordinarios.
