Meet Biscuit. Biscuit enjoys snuggling, hiking, chewing on socks and peanut butter. Biscuit lives in the most loving home with my sister and her boyfriend Gabe in Seattle. Maddy and Gabe had been patiently waiting for years to get a dog, and the time finally arrived in July. They did their research, visited Biscuit, brought him home for a few days to make sure it would work, and he never left. Love at first sight.
Biscuit didn't always have such a plush caring life. Mads and Gabe adopted this sweet pie in July. Biscuit lived the first part of his life in a kennel, he was abused, starved, and was to bred to fight for entertainment. Biscuit and 49 other dogs were finally was rescued by the Tacoma Humane Society when he 7 months old. Biscuit then lived the next 7 months of his life in the pound and in the foster system waiting for a home before Maddy and Gabe found this angel, and couldn't bear the thought to leave him there any longer.
We recently found out that Biscuit has a cancerous mass cell tumor growing on his snout. After many vet visits, the best outcome is surgery, and possibly radiation therapy. The surgeon will need to remove the mass, part of his lower nose, and part of his upper lip to prevent the spread of cancer. A traumatic and very expensive experience for Biscuit and his loving parents. Living in Seattle and going to college is already an expense in itself, and during tough times (especially now) my two favorite people will be strapped to afford this, as anyone would!
We are all going through it right now, but anything helps! Anything extra will go to the amazing Tacoma Humane Society who first saved this pup's life!
