We started this Go Fund Me Campaign to support our staff and restaurant family at Uncle Betty's Diner. We have had overwhelming support in the first few weeks of the campaign. Thank you for your donations and help getting the word out. Family restaurants are the corner stone of our Toronto neighbourhoods. We would be lost without them.
The mandated closure, and soon, we believe the elimination of home delivery will mean some of us will never recover. We are very concerned about our restaurant families and their businesses. With that said, we have reached out to other restaurants in our community and are now expanding our Go Fund Me Campaign from Save Uncle Betty’s to Save Your Local – Tip it Forward. Our goal is to help the staff and the individually owned restaurants. We welcome any restaurant or bar to our campaign that are struggling during this pandemic.
We know that these are difficult times for everyone, but if you are able to help, your donation would be greatly appreciated.
