Don you left the Game too soon!
Our dear friend, Don Valenti, passed away unexpectedly on June 20th.
Don has been our Friend. Our Brother. Our Teammate. The adored Father of Tessa & loving Husband to Regie.
As a foster parent for 24 years, Don’s perseverance and commitment to youth is legendary. He always gave them a turn at bat and a few words of encouragement, even when they were behind in the count.
In his league of softball cronies, Don was the go-to-guy, always quick to lend a hand, give a laugh or share a smile.
The two biggest hits he had were when he brought Tessa home forever and the home run that united him with Regie and brought them together at the Home Plate of Life.
Don’s kindness and generosity made our community a better place to live and play softball. We can honor Don’s legacy by supporting his family as they begin the difficult journey of moving forward.
May you always have Don on your team.
All proceeds from this campaign (minus GFM cost) will be donated to Dons family.
Thank you for thinking of them.
