Hurricane Harvey has taken everything--except their faith and their resolve. Don and his family were forced to evacuate when over 5 feet of water filled their home and destroyed all of their personal belongings, including their cars.
There are lots of ways to give to help the victims of Hurricane Harvey, but if you're like me, it is always a blessing to actually be a part of helping someone that you know is truly in need and would never ask.
This one's personal. This is our brother and sister, niece and nephews. No gift is too small. God will provide--I just happen to believe He chooses to use people like you and me to make a difference! Prayer is crucial. The damage is more than physical--it's emotional and spiritual. Giving to meet the physical need will not bring back the lost photos or heirlooms, but it will bring HOPE.
Starting over from scratch isn't easy. You can be assured that this family will use the money wisely to replace the items that were lost. Don has served the Lord faithfully in full-time ministry for over 3 decades, many times sacrificing his own comfort to help others. Won't you help? Even a small gift would say to Don and Denise, "I care!"
