Don Andre Fundraiser Puerto Rico

Don Andre Sanfiorenzo and his wife Doña Magali are Elders of the Puerto Rican Community, who have been pioneers and advocates of indigenious ways of life and healing.  They helped to form community in Puerto Rico some 25 years ago through opening their home and land to faciliate Prayer Meetings, Ceremonies, Vision Quests, Wisdom Teachings. They are dear friends of ours and also hosted the first cycle of our Vision Quest.

Opening their doors to Elders of the North and South, to come and share their knowledge and teachings... Allowing for people all over the world to visit their humble farm in the mountains to learn, grow, heal, and form community.

They have given so much to so many people over the years, so I am making this meager effort to ask for whatever support you can give to help give back to them. I understand there are thousands of relief efforts and fundraisers going around, but if you are able to and feel compelled to, please consider contributing whatever you can.

September 6th Hurricane Maria ripped through  Puerto Rico devasting much of their land, destroying vasts amount of forest, as well flooding and causing serious water damage to their home.  They currently have food and water but are in need of some more supplies to get things up and running. They are without power and have very limited cell service that is sporatic.

I have been in contact with Manuel, their son, who is also living on the farm.  They are in need of additional chainsaws, a medium and a large, to continue clearing the roads, pathways, and farm, and to begin rebuilding efforts.

They would also like to purchase an 80 amp solar charger and batteries to provide the power to the home and farm.  Restoration efforts are extemely slow and the country isn't expected to be fully up and running for many months. Especailly in the rural mountain area as in Guanacaste, where they live.

I will be withdrawling all donations and than sending 100% to them to Don Andre via paypal
