Don & Pat Hurricane Michael Fund

As everyone is aware of the recent devastation from Hurricane Michael, many tried to reach out in some way to Pat and Don Duffy. 

Their home and surroundings in Mexico Beach has sustained much damage and they are uncertain as to what might come of it.  They are humbled by the sight of so much total destruction  to the area, some homes completely leveled. After evacuation to a hotel in Troy, AL, they have had to move 3 times as availability changes day to day.  Thus far, the FEMA approved hotels have all been booked, causing them to pay out of pocket each night.  What, if any, insurance might cover is still not known. Don’s medical issues are an ongoing concern and need attention, but the Wound Center is still not up and running.

Since so many have reached out to Ellen & Terry, Pat’s siblings, we decided to offer this Go Fund Me page as a way  to help Don and Pat. 

They were hesitant to agree to this, but due to their frequent hotel changes and lack of a temporary housing arrangement in place, this seems the only feasible method to help.

Thanks to so many for your prayers and concern about Don and Pat’s situation.

Some additional information (asked for by the website): I am Pat's nephew living outside Chicago. They will spend funds for their medical and housing/food bills during this transition time. They (and only they) can directly withdraw funds from this account.  Feel free to ask me any questions.
