My name is Sara Pickinpaugh, and I am Don and Jackie Pickinpaugh’s daughter-in-law. In just two short months is an event that is worth acknowledging in a very special way.
In a day where promises and marriage vows mean nothing to the average person, Don and Jackie Pickinpaugh have accomplished something extraordinary.

When they began their life together on January 2, 1971, little did they know the direction their lives would take.
Service defines their marriage. For the past 50 years, they have served both our country and God in a journey that literally spanned the globe.

How does one describe a lifetime of service and truly do justice to the vast number of souls these places represent? Each place, each person holds a piece of their hearts.

Please help us honor and celebrate their monumental achievement! Despite the challenges caused by Covid-19 and the miles that separate us all, it is our desire to safely honor Don & Jackie’s 50th Anniversary in a way that is as extraordinary as they are.

Your cards and letters will be compiled into an album that we will present to Don and Jackie on their anniversary in January. In addition to surprising them with your love and well-wishes, it is our goal to surprise them with a “Dream Vacation” this summer by providing an all-expenses-paid trip to Jackie’s favorite place- The Grand Hotel on Mackinac Island.
Your generous monetary gift will go toward several nights at the amazing and unique Grand Hotel, meals, taxi service, tours, spending money, scooter rental, and more. Any additional funds will go toward new siding or additional maintenance projects for their home.
