Impact Temple Church Internship

I am a senior at Abilene Christian University double-majoring in Biblical Text and Youth and Family Ministry. I am from Howe, TX and I consider Covenant Church McKinney my home church.
This summer, I have been blessed with the opportunity to serve as an intern at Impact Temple Church—a non-denominational church plant in Temple, Texas. Their mission is to share the good news with people who are disconnected from God. The church is located in a low income, racially diverse area and has the goal of creating a church that people from every race and income level can call home.
Specifically, I will be a Preaching Intern and have the opportunity to share the gospel with people who have never heard the message of Christ before. I firmly believe in the mission of Impact Temple and the work they are doing for the kingdom. I am excited about the chance to be the hands and feet of Jesus in a community longing for the hope of Christ.
I am asking for two things for this internship:
First, I would like people willing to pray for our work this summer and that God continues growing the church. God is doing wonderful things in Temple, and the harvest is many. Please pray that people are sent to reach the already-prepared hearts.
Second, since the church is still in its first year and fairly small, they have asked each intern to raise $5300 for our work. I am believing that God will provide for me as I do the work of the kingdom.
