Help for Dominic

So! I'm sat here with mixed feelings about writing this! Why?! It's never your intention to struggle to provide for your family but! with this one we've been backed into a corner with options.

Dominic is our youngest, who's full of life, has the best belly laughs anyone has heard. He's full of love, kind and so desperately wants to be a normal 7yr old boy. He's got an amazing sense of humour and he's incredibly intelligent.... He's taught us alot about ourselves.

Dominic is in the top 5% of Alderheys undiagnosed children, not without trying though.

Dominic is non verbal, unable to walk due to hip displacement by 50% and over pronated feet, so even if he could walk he'd basically be walking on his ankle bones. Dominic is autistic with severe learning difficulties and has been diagnosed with ARFID a condition leaving him unable to eat or drink anything but his "safe food" porridge or Weetabix.

He meets challenges head on and keeps smiling and melts our hearts every day.

So why are we doing this?! We have been to numerous charities for help securing a car seat, Dominic is rapidly outgrowing his current specialised car seat and he needs to go up to the next weight category, but when the next category is just shy of £3000 for the postural support chair he needs it's not something we can 'pull out of the bag' so to say.

Dominic hasn't qualified for help by the charities we've approached as he doesn't have a diagnosis which is where they fall down as they can't 'tick' the relevant boxes.

Our aim with this is to hope that this crosses the desk of someone, an individual, a charity or a company who may be able to offer some financial help towards this next step.
