Dear Family and Friends,
Some of you know and for others this is new information, but it has become important for me to share a situation that has been emotional for our family. Our son Dominick was diagnosed as being on the autism spectrum at the age of 3 years old. Dominick is 8 years old now and for the past 5 years we have been through various therapies and programs for Dominick.
Through this journey we have done our best to try every avenue that is out there. Unfortunately the reality of these services and programs is the cost that comes along with them. The average cost to families is about $70K pre year in lost income and out of pocket expenses. We are currently doing our best to manage these costs and still get the help that Dominick needs.
We have learned about a program called Neuro-fit Systems. Neuro-fit uses a proprietary program called Functional Neuromotor Activation Technique (FNAT). FNAT is a drug-free and movement based system that recalibrates neurology by taking people back through the neuro-developmental process. We an informational and evaluation night a few weeks ago and met the operators of the program and learned about the program and its proven benefits to children.
The FNAT program is a 16 year old intervention and has proven so successful that researchers associated with UCLA, USC and Children’s Hospital, Los Angeles have all requested the opportunity to study the program and make it more widely accessible to children across the Country. There is a location here is Las Vegas and we would like to sign Dominick up for the program. Because insurance covers very few interventions, the cost of this program must be paid out of pocket.
The total cost of the program is $4,374.00. We are asking for your help in raising the money to pay for the program for Dominick. We are hopeful that it will change the course of his life and would be so grateful for any financial support.
