Dominica: 'The Need Is Great'

Donation protected
Every village in Dominica, every street ,every single person on this island  is affected by  Hurricane Maria. Maria hit the island at a  category 5 strength with winds over 175 mph. It left the island devastated and showed no mercy plowing through people's homes and villages . Not a person was left untouched or unshaken. Thousands of homes snapped in two. The once lush green island is now a pile of broken branches. "We have no running water, no electricity, power, food, and very limited communication services". There is desperate need for food, water and medical supplies on the island of 73,000 residents. We know of 24 deaths, and we've heard of many missing, The total is unknown. At the moment the airport is shut down.

Dominica has been hit..... and hit hard. The damage can be seen is island wide. Houses ripped open, roofs torn off, mudslides. My beautiful island the nature island of the Caribbean with a amazing beautiful rain forest now no more , 365 rivers gone, & amazing blue green sea now runs brown with muddy water from the earth swept into it. The immediate concern now is for Aid. That is the immediate priority. Medical treatment, power, fresh water and food are our top priority. By donating, you can give these people a glimmer of hope. Help them restore their island to what it once was.
