Dominic Nunu Funeral

Donation protected
Our Liberian brother and friend Dominic Nunu left home on Sunday, May 3, 2020 and went to a Home Depot to purchase some building materials. On his way back, he had a heart attack and was later found unresponsive in his car by First Responders. They took him to the hospital but unfortunately, he passed away  on Thursday May 7, 2020 leaving behind his wife and 4 young children.

Like many of us  Liberians in the United States, Dominic survived the horrible refugee life in the Ivory Coast and found his way to the United States by the grace of God. Immediately upon arrival in the United States Dominic worked hard to put the refugee life behind him. He enrolled in College,  studied extremely hard, and obtained a master’s degree in information technology. He also became a Microsoft Certified Engineer and worked with reputable companies in New York.

Dominic was free-handed, never hesitated to help any friend in need unless he did not have it himself. He loved learning new ideas, always encouraged his friends to learn. He considered learning as the best defense against poverty. Family was top priority to him and like most fathers, Dominic wanted his children to be among the most educated children in the world. Unfortunately, death has denied him the opportunity to fulfill  that dream.

The problem is compounded by Mrs. Nunu’s health condition. She recently had  a major surgery and has been unemployed few weeks before the untimely passing the husband.

Friends and well-wishers of the Nunu family, we are kindly asking you to please join us in raising $20,000 within 12 months to help the Nunu family. This money will enable the family pay for housing to keep roof over their heads especially during this covid-19 period. It will also put food on their table as well as help fulfill the Dominic’s dream for his children’s education.

Benjamin Dean, a close friend to the family and Levi Yeah, Dominic’s former schoolmate who got to know him from the refugee camp in Ivory Coast will manage this fund.
May the good Lord richly bless you in all your endeavors for lending a helping hand to the Nunu family.
