Robyn's divorce trial fees

Hi everyone,
My name is Robyn and I'm asking for assistance for my son Lucien and I. Since March 10th, 2020 I have been in the process of going through a divorce with my (soon to be) ex husband. Due to domestic violence my son and I have a restraining order against my ex and Family Court Services deemed our case not appropriate for mediation. On February 8th, 2021 we will be going to trial to determine visitation, process potential domestic violence/ drug abuse charges, and make a final restraining order against my ex to protect my son and I. I am asking aid from friends and family to help cover my lawyer fees during these difficult times. I do not know exactly how much the fees will cost but I am hoping the asking amount will cover it. To date, my immediate family and I have been able to cover all charges (approx. 17k) however I will be needing help for the last bit of cost for trial. After conversing with my attorney we are estimating an additional cost of between $10-20k. Any left over amount I plan to donate to a non-profit organization working to end domestic violence through crisis intervention, ongoing supportive services, and education in the community.
