Domestic Violence Survivor Needs Attorney Retainer

I am a single Mom with a gifted 13 year old daughter. 11 years ago her father assaulted me, then called me from jail and told me that I, "Should have washed the blood off, before police got to the house."
His statement still echoes. I left with whatever dignity I could muster and my two young daughters.
A decade later, he has moved to AZ. He has an atty, dual income and has claimed in court that I provoked him to attack me in 2009. Despite clear DV records being submitted and his statement in court in AZ that he, "Kicked a trash can at me, and somehow scratched my neck,(when he took my phone)."
The assault was so much worse.
I was not able to present information clearly representing myself in court, against a man who assaulted me. I froze and met my limitation like a brick wall.
My daughter is relying on me to make sure that she is heard and we need help.
I have consulted a local and experienced female attorney. She needs a retainer of $2,500 and that that will cover roughly 10 hours. My tax return is moving slowly & the next court date is at the end of September.
I cannot wait & I cannot face my abuser alone.
Walking away was so much harder than enduring the years of sexual and emotional abuse. Once I walked away, I never wanted to look back.
Instead, I am still looking over my shoulder: a decade later.
