Dolores Beckford (Del) was an amazing Mother, Grandmother, Sister, Daughter and Friend, loved by all,
who's hard work and words of wisdom could inspire anyone. While her advice and her guidance that could get anyone through tough times, was a gift to anyone who needed it.
She was a loving and caring woman who would always help where she could and would always make sure there was space around her dinner table for anyone and treat you like you are part of the family, then with your first mouth full of food would always ask (does it taste ok? or is it too salty?)
Mum's passing was sudden and a shock to Family and friends as she had informed us that she had contracted Covid- 19 only a few days before Christmas but anyone who knows mum would know that she would say (not to make a fuss) and would refuse to let this dampen her spirit or get in the way of Christmas.
Over the next few days she let us know that she was starting to feel better and even the day after boxing was waving out the window with a smile to let us know she was feeling better,
but sadly on December 30th 2020 Mum had lost her fight leaving us all devastated.
Many people reading this will have known Dolores either personally or through work over the years and will have many many stories, fun times and tributes that you would like to share. The family have been trying to contact as many friends and family as we can about the news but it has been so overwhelming and we may not be able to inform everyone such as friends and family who are living abroad. We have had lots of people asking how? or where? they can send condolences or donations to help with funeral costs and for a place for everyone to post condolences so we decided to create and share this go fund me page.
The funeral dates and arrangements are still being made and we will update everyone once we have a date and confirmation on other details so please bare with us.
You will always be loved and remembered mum and we will cherish every memory and moment until we see you again.
