Dollars For Dell

This semester for one of my classes the teacher asked each student to create a project that exemplifies some type of leadership. She told us that the projects could be whatever we wanted, a personal goal to accomplish, the creation of something, or even just learning something new. I thought long and hard about what I wanted to do my project on, and after a while the idea of a Holiday gift delivery at the Dell Children's Hospital was what came to my mind. I have been volunteering at the Dell Children's Hospital here in Austin for over three years now and it has really opened my eyes and shown me how lucky I am to be where I am today. Over the past three years I have learned so much about the hospital and the children there, which is why I have decided to do this project. The thing I love most about visiting the hospital is walking through the door of a patients room and putting a smile on their face. So this Holiday season I want to be able to put lots of smiles on faces by surprising the children with gifts so they have something to open during the holidays. I am starting this fundraiser early so the word will get out and by the time the holidays roll around we can deliver the gifts to the kids. Any amount is greatly appreciated, and if you would rather donate gifts please contact me at the information below and we will have a place to store them until they are delivered.
