Dollars for Dru

Dru was at work on December 9th, when he suffered a stroke caused by high blood pressure. He was taken by ambulance to the ER in Tillamook where they discovered a bleed in his brain and made the decision to life flight him to Portland to be treated in a Neuro Critical Care Unit (NCCU).

Dru is currently stable with the swelling and bleeding in his brain showing a decrease. Right now he does not have the ability to speak or move his right side but with time some of that function may return. He will remain in the NCCU until his neurosurgeon and doctor think that the swelling/bleeding in his brain and his blood pressure look good enough for him to move to a regular hospital room.

It will be a long road to recovery for Dru. He will be in the hospital and a rehab facility for months. Dru typically lives paycheck to paycheck. The last thing we want him to worry about is how he's going to make his house payment or take care of his other monthly bills while he's trying to heal.
