Damian is like a brother to me.
He's like a brother to everyone he knows.
He's also a father of two beautiful daughters.
He's a student and lover of life, especially frisbee golf. ;-)
Damian was diagnosed with lymphoma cancer right after the 50th Oregon Country Fair. Damian lives for Fair, which he shares with his brothers, daughters, mother and InSecurity crew. Legend has it that Damian picked me up at my first fair, when I was just six days old and four pounds, wanting to play with me like a doll. He's been like a brother ever since. :-)
Damian struggled with alcohol early his in life, and is a proud AA member, who went back to school to become a physical therapy assistant. Damian was midway through his physical therapy program when he was diagnosed. He hopes to go back to school by the winter, and will need support from friends, family and so-called strangers to help him graduate and complete his residency, while fighting cancer.
Damian has two daughters, Ciara Émilie Florence who is an artist and Maddy, who is a 16 year old junior at South Eugene High. They are both exceptionally smart and creative young women, with a very proud and loving Dad.
Damian and his family are humble and grateful for any and all support.
