4th Annual Matt Day & BBall Tourny

Gun violence affects everyone; from students practicing lockdown drills in their classrooms to tax payers paying to clean the mess after bullets. Our community has suffered too many tragedies at the hands of dangerous people who use guns to commit terrible acts of violence.

Each year we lose more than 30,000 Americans in gun-related deaths. More than 20,000 children under the age of 18 are killed by firearms. As a community lets raise our voices and say No More Hate. Show Love Instead. One by one we can change the slew of gun violence.

It's that time of the year again to celebrate Matt's Birthday, July 25th, as well as the effort to bring an end to Gun violence. It's been 5 years since we lost him and we are asking our family, friends and community supporters to help us reach our goal of $3,000. All donations will cover the cost of team awards, team shirts, tees for event, coaches, food, and entertainment.
On July 29th please support the 4th Annual Matt D. Shaw Basketball Tournament & Gun Violence Awareness Day. It will be held at the Each One, Teach One Basketball Courts on 129th and Lexington from 5pm to 9pm

If you arent able to contribute, money food, water, helping with the games and general support is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance and we hope to see you all there.

Here's a little more info on why we are in the 4th year and continue to keep this going.
