Doin' What I Do Best

Donation protected
Friends and Fans,

I’ve created what I believe are six incredibly fun and meaningful CDs that have kept people smiling, churches singing and generated lots of touching testimonials that I’ve treasured over the years.

Well it’s been over four years since my last project, “So Far So Good” and I have a plethora of wonderful music to share. But number seven, tentatively titled, “Doin’ What I Do Best” has been incubating for over two years, a VERY long pregnancy for sure. My goal is to have “Doin” on the table at the Posi Music Festival this February but at the rate I’m working now, the due date is still unknown. So, it’s time for a C-Section or more accurately, a CD-Section! I want to get that baby out of me!

Due to life circumstances, unexpected bills and income changes over the past couple years I’m doing something I’ve never done before – that is asking for your support. I’ve seen lots of artists reach out to their friends and fans for support when creating a CD. And many of them have encouraged me now to do the same.

I’m working with Daniel Nahmod again to produce this project, and he has done some incredible work so far. There is Blues, R&B, Pop, Rock, Reggae, inspirational, secular, even a holiday song as well as some new music for congregational singing in churches. It features co-writes with Sue Riley, Tom Kimmel, and Penny Nichols and pays tribute to my mom and dad and one of my songwriting role models who passed away last  year. There’s even a rare political commentary in a new song entitled, “I Hate Hate”.

It’s a small pond we Posi Music artists swim in. We may not ever have that big hit, major cut or six figure gig.  We sell our music one fan at a time, face to face at events, in churches, through referrals and websites. There’s no major distribution. No million sellers, no thirty thousand seat arenas or $100 ticket prices (yet).  What we do have though, is a loving community of like-minded artists and devoted fans who believe in the power of positive music to change the world for the better.

Writing and recording music is what I do best. I’m always striving to improve my craft and I put 110% of myself into all my recordings. My intention is always that when you’re done listening to one of my songs, you feel better about yourself and the world around you.

So here are some giving levels that will get you a small token of my appreciation in return. I've included special levels for churches.
