<div>This entire story is painful, but i need to paint you a picture...

<div>i lived with my mom until i was 27yrs old.... for her health, financial issues, my issues, it was easier, cheaper, better, you name it. we were chillin...
</div>
<div>In 2016-2018 my mom and myself were taking care of my grandpa/her dad/my best friend, the one youve all heard the hilarious stories about... towards the end when he was checked into hospice is when it all began for my mom...
</div>
<div>after her dad passed away (who was her best friend also)
</div>
<div>she began throwing up all day every day.
</div>
<div>in the car, in the store, aisles in the store, parking lots, sinks, hands, cups, it didn't matter where or when, it would hit her so fast randomly out of nowhere... so they gave her anti nausea meds for it and she just threw those up and she battled this for MONTHS MONTHS AND MONTHS.. i watched it every day unable to do anything about it...

<div>2019 at 46yrs old one of her toes started burning a pain she couldn't stand the pain of and when we went to the ER and they did their tests, the ER doctor felt a pulse in her right leg... that managed to schedule her an angioplasty that ended with SEVEN balloons inside to open up blood flow... 
</div>
<div>TWO WEEKS LATER after the blood flow fully returned to her leg she could hardly walk from the pain of all the blood returning.
</div>
<div>we went back to the Dr after this first procedure 2 weeks later for a check up and everything was all good!
</div>
<div>3 weeks later she had another clot and the blood thinners and what she was taking was not working, so it was time for another angioplasty in the other leg, more stents, balloons, procedures.
</div>
<div>She was then sent to a hematologist who diagnosed 'antiphospholipid syndrome' which is an autoimmune disorder where her immune system mistakenly produces antibodies that attack her body's tissues and it can sometimes be mistaken for MS...
</div>
<div>More blood work done and her iron panel she had done was insanely alarming, and that began the iron infusions... She's had 8 since 2020 and will always need them.
</div>
<div>since all of this happened my mother is in constant pain, from headaches, discs in her neck being bad, thyroid tumors, and recently diagnosed with Ataxia which is a neurological condition that involves poor muscle control and uncoordinated movement, balance, speech, driving... you name it. she cant take pain meds for many reasons including...allergies
</div>
<div>She's been offered a surgery to help with SOME issues but she cant get surgery because of her clotting disorder...
</div>
<div>so in 2027 they have to give her an MRI to confirm more issues to the point she needs to be asleep because she cant lay there without the pain or involuntary movements.
</div>
<div>she's also developed Cushing's syndrome which is basically caused by stress and cortisol... and she has also began taking insulin because for the longest time she's been insulin resistant and taking Metformin for 20+yrs...
</div>
<div>My mom was a single parent raising me from 17yrs old, she owned a car wash and quick lube where SHE HERSELF was under those cars changing oil, tires, windshields on the cars to fixing equipment in the car wash she owned in the same building WITH HER BARE HANDS... she also mowed our 7 acres of grass that we had... and if i ever tried to mow the lawn, i got in trouble because mom wanted a sun tan...

<div>My mom worked her ass off her entire life from sun up to sun down trying to make it work and she did make it work from carwashes, to even being somewhat of a nurse herself to take care of seniors at a facility down the street from us...
</div>
<div> and she even took care of our grandparents who lived across the street from us unil they passed away...
</div>
<div>we may not of had "everything" but holy shit this woman took care of everything...
</div>
<div>This woman has gotten me out of so much trouble in my life, bailed me out of jail, you name it... shes done it for me or would do it...
</div>
<div>if anyone has ever interacted with my mother they know she's a very fierce woman but they also know she'll help you right then and there, shes just got to ask some questions first...
</div>
<div>She is unable to tend her grandkids, she cannot spend time with them alone because she cant even move fast enough to follow a toddler around.
</div>
<div>my grandma/her mom live together and my grandma is getting older as well and struggles every day with herself along with trying to help.
</div>
<div>I am a stay at home dad of 2 children with no daycare options trying every single thing i can to make any thing work...
</div>
<div>lately with everything going on i feel like i dont even know how to make content, i just feel stress and failure because even with over 40million views last month... facebook paid me 1600... tiktok paid me $12...
</div>
<div>on top of the measley $997/month my mom gets for disability, i can barely even help add to that... i try to send a 100 here, 100 there and i dont know how that helps anything in this day and age.
</div>
<div>and you'd think on top of all these issues that my mother suffers from she couldn't manage anymore... 
</div>
<div>she has an 11yr old dog who is blind and diabetic with her own medical bills and the absolute light of my moms world.
</div>
<div>my mom takes care of this dog every minute of every hour and has to even give the dog insulin. yes, theyre BOTH DIABETIC... the dogs name is Mazey and i picked up Mazey when she was 8weeks old and took her to my mom so her Chewy dog could have a buddy... 
</div>
<div>Mazey still plays, eats, drinks, barks, trots around the house because my mom has put stuff on the walls so the dog can find her way around... the dog is a force and happy to be alive, its incredible.
</div>
<div>Shes 51 and all of this started 8yrs ago, sometimes i think longer than that... but in these 8yrs we've tried everything and its now the point where she just has to exist like this...
</div>
<div>i dont know what to do anymore, i cant imagine she does either... my mom needs help. my wife and i make the drive to Arizona as much as we can but my wifes job demands alot from her and with our 2 kids and everything else, traveling is hard even when it is only 5hrs away
</div>
<div>i want to raise some money to help my mom. to help with her monthly bills, for her dogs medicine, for her medicine,
</div>
<div>for things she needs in the house to help her mobility and comfort. for whatever she wants because she cant do anything but exist in that damn house...
</div>
