Doing good locally, exploring globally!

Hello brave and courageous person. You have had the courage of opening a link, having only a vague idea where it will bring you. Want a bit more information? Here it is.

I’m Nicholas, I’m 13 and in June 2020, I have the luck to be going to Shanghai, China (I'm learning Mandarin). This is an amazing opportunity and experience for me and I can't wait to go. But, of course, this experience costs quite a lot of money, so I have decided to raise £300 towards the trip, and am hoping that YOU (yes, you) will maybe, perhaps, possibly sponsor me.

With your encouragement and support, I want to do good in my local community, including:

- Beach and Water of Leith litter clean-ups
- Playing the violin in community spaces (eg. care homes)
- Regular volunteering in charity shops 
- And maybe more!... 

I'm also setting myself a personal challenge to swim the height of Mount Everest! I'm starting on 26th May and want to complete before returning to school in August. I will keep this page updated with my progress. So please help me achieve these goals and get the chance of going to Shanghai by donating as much or as little as you want (and feel free to share my page with friends and family).
