Dog traps needed SW WA Bridgetown

Donation protected
I am seeking funds to support rural communities in southwest Western Australia by providing essential equipment such as loan dog traps and cameras. These tools are crucial for recovering lost or scared dogs safely. Our goal is to ensure these communities have access to at least three foot-triggered traps, a hook trap, a missy trap, and four cameras for monitoring. Any additional funds raised will be allocated towards acquiring other necessary equipment for the successful rescue of missing dogs.

Currently, we have deployed a loan trap (and returned another trap we had that was wrong type) in an area south of Bridgetown in an effort to locate Charlie, a missing poodle/whippet since March 13th. While we have managed to create a safe space for him by providing food, the absence of an appropriate trap is hindering our rescue efforts. Charlie seems hesitant to approach the hook trap, and we believe a foot-trigger plate would be more effective in capturing him.

Your support in fundraising for this cause is invaluable. While we are grateful for the generosity of those who have contributed towards a thermal drone, in this particular situation, a drone is not suitable as Charlie is wary of approaching people but will enter a trap for food. Please join us in our mission to provide the necessary equipment for the public to loan, enabling us to rescue dogs like Charlie and reunite them with their families.

Update: We successfully trapped Charlie on the 13th night of him missing 14 klms from home, he ran a great distance then settled in an area near in wandillup near yornup forest. He was in a tree plantation and scrub, so we had 2 sightings by Kylie a farmer out that way and we were able to set traps to catch him once we kept him in the area with food n water. We watched him go in the trap multiple nights in a row which was frustrating but it did not go off as he didn't like the hook type trap bait bag. So we are going to buy some foot plate type ones as an alternative too. It's incredible he's now safe. Charlie would of never gone to people so a trap was vital in his successful rescue.
