New Pavilion for Dog Park

Donation protected
Hurricane Irma took her toll on our one source of shade at our dog park.  We are a small group of dog lovers who convinced our Walden Lake Community Association to dedicate land for a dog park.  The park was funded by donations and membership fees make the dog park self-sustaining. Since the park was built on an old polo field, there is very little shade.  Our one source of shade came from the large oak tree, but now that she was destroyed by Hurricane Irma we are looking for alternative shelter from the hot Florida sun.

We are seeking to raise $8,000 to build a new 12’X16’ pavilion that will bridge the large dog side with the small dog side.  The dog park is one of the few places where people gather in our community and enjoy each other’s company while watching our furry family members run around and play.

Please consider any size size donation to help us raise the necessary funds to build a new pavilion in order to provide shelter and shade from the sun.
