Several weeks ago, our beloved family goat and Ranch mascot was found limping across the pasture. When we got to him he was cover in dog bites and one of his horn nubs had been ripped off and bleeding. He also had a very severe limp. Unfortunately this is not the first time our poor goat has been attacked inside of our pasture by neighborhood dogs, 3 years ago he had sustained a very serious attack that required a TPLO knee surgery, fortunately the neighbor who's dog it was took responsibility and paid for the surgery. We are finding ourselves in the same situation with his other leg, which has a frature and a torn ACL. We have zero options but to proceed with the surgery since his other knee is already compromised, amputation is not possible and we are not even considering putting him down. He is our family and my daughters best friend. We are reaching out for help to save him and get him out of pain.  Finances are so tight for us right now with the new baby on the way, but we can't just not take care of our other "kids" .
