Help Luna Buy a Sewing Machine

This GoFundMe project will make it possible for me to purchase an industrial sewing machine, several leather hides, and other materials needed to resume production. Your support will also provide the initial investment for color supplies, and a new pair of shears for cutting hair.

Have you ever had one of those times in your life when you knew you had to say “yes” to something really big ?
October of 2012, I made a life changing roadtrip to Texas to visit family. During the visit, my cousin Deb offered me the possibility to return and move into the house that once belonged to my beloved paternal grandparents.
By April of 2013, I was planning my move back to Dallas.
I was not prepared financially to make this move nor assume the responsibility of a house. The house was in such a state of disrepair it required me to incur a substantial chunk of debt just to make it livable.
Since being here I've had various odd jobs, all while launching my leather business. I sell my leather goods at outdoor markets and have also gotten into a couple of "brick and mortar" in Austin and Dallas. I've accomplished all this using sewing machines never intended to sew leather. Now I am in serious need of an upgrade to an industrial machine to fulfill orders and create a new line.

I recently rented a station at Tyler St. Salon and have begun to (re)establish a hair clientele, just blocks from where I was born. The circle of life continues to amaze me !
The opportunities coming my way are only possible if I am able to provide the basic tools needed for my both my trades.
