Subótica es un municipio al norte de Serbia, fronterizo con Hungría. Este es el último punto para miles de personas antes de entrar en la Unión Europea. La gente allí vive en condiciones infrahumanas, esperando la oportunidad de poder cruzar la frontera. Además de vivir sin alimento, agua potable y necesidades básicas, los refugiados sufren ataques racistas, acoso policial y desamparo institucional y legal.
Mi compañero Nacho Riera y yo vamos a ir a este campo de refugiados durante el mes de enero. Nuestro objetivo es contar y difundir la situación y así llamar la atención de la comunidad internacional.
El documental se hará de la mano de la organización Escuela con Alma con su proyecto Dragonfly: un proyecto de Ayuda Humanitaria de Emergencia en Serbia, que abastece de recursos en un radio de 100 km de forma diaria, y las 24 horas para casos de emergencia.

Dada la emergencia queremos irnos lo antes posible. Nuestros objetivos con este documental son:
- Dar visibilidad al problema.
- Ayudar en el día a día en las tareas que desempeña Escuela con Alma.
- Profundizar: No nos vale solo con recoger testimonios. Se plantean dudas éticas que analizaremos por separado, con las instituciones y
con las personas que allí viven.
- También: ¿es Europa una trampa? ¿qué les espera en caso de que puedan cruzar la frontera?
Por todos estos motivos estamos buscando colaboradores para poder financiar tanto el viaje como la realización del proyecto.
Por otro lado aprovecharemos el viaje para llevarnos una furgoneta desde Madrid hasta Serbia con ropa y medicamentos. (El invierno que tienen que soportar llega hasta -16 grados).
Cada colaboración recibirá una copia del documental una vez terminado.

Subotica it´s located at the north of Serbia bordering with Hungary. This is the last border for thousands of people before entering the European Union. People there live in infrahuman conditions, waiting for the oportunity to cross the border. They live with no food, water or shelter, plus sufering racism, police harassment and legal abandonment.
My collegue Nacho Riera and I will go to this refugee camps for a month during January. Our aim is to take this issue to the spotlight in order to bring awareness of the internatinal community.
This documentary will be develop with the help of Escuela con Alma organisation and it´s project Dragonfly: Dragonfly is an Emergency Human Help Project in Sebia which brings supplies 24/7 in a 100 km radius.

Due to the importance of this issue we want to leave as soon as possible. We would like to achive the following goals:
- Bring the issue to a spotlight
- Help with the daily Dragonfly´s tasks.
- Get a deeper knowledge about what is happening: we will not just record testimonies. Ethical issues will be analized.
- Also: Is it an european tramp? What awaits for them after crossing the border?
We are looking for any collabotarions that will allow us to achive the goals explained before.
On the other hand we will bring a van with us with medicamentes and warm clothes (during the winter it gets to -16 degrees!).
Every donor will get a copy of the documentary film once is finished.
