<div>Este proyecto nace de mis propias vivencias en Cuetzalan y de observar cómo el náhuatl forma parte de la vida cotidiana de muchas familias, para algunos habitantes es la única lengua que conocen, sin embargo, esa misma lengua también enfrenta desplazamiento, barreras sociales y falta de empatía por parte de quienes no la hablan.

<div>El documental busca retratar a hablantes monolingües y bilingües desde distintas perspectivas de la comunidad, como la música, la danza, entre otras más, mostrando así no solo las dificultades que enfrentan, sino también la resistencia cultural que mantiene viva su lengua.

<div>El objetivo del proyecto es generar conciencia sobre la importancia de la conservación del idioma y abrir un espacio donde las personas puedan compartir sus propias vivencias y explicar, desde su propia voz, lo que viven por hablar esta lengua.

<div>Para poder realizar este proyecto necesitamos cubrir principalmente gastos de transporte, hospedaje y alimentación del equipo durante la semana de rodaje en Semana Santa, somos un equipo pequeño y comprometido, y gran parte del trabajo será posible gracias a aportaciones propias, pero necesitamos apoyo para hacerlo realidad con el respeto, la empatía y la calidad que la comunidad merece.
