Let me tell you about my dear friend Dawn. She is a daughter, mother, wife and warrior!! In 2013 her nightmare began. She injured her right wrist while doing handcuff training for her job. She ended up needing surgery for it. Everything went smoothly at first. They used nylon sutures inside her wrist ( she has never had a allergy to nylon before) all the sudden she started getting holes where the sutures where. The doctor figured out she was allergic to the nylon. Another surgery was needed and once again they used nylon, once again she had a bad reaction. Another surgery, again nylon even though she repeatedly told them she is allergic to it.
Almost 6 years now she has been dealing with this. It’s so bad that she can barely use her hand, if she even brushes anything nylon with any exposed skin her right arm will start a new hole. This is her arm now
And it travels up to a little past her elbow. She gets nasty remarks if her arm is showing. She always wearing a sweatshirt in fear of touching nylon somewhere. She has seen so many doctors and gets told “oh that’s bad. We can’t help you.” She has cried, got angry and now feels just defeated. But she keeps pushing on. Even with the latest news that it is now effecting her internal organs. She can’t keep any food down. She just left the Mayo Clinic with another we can’t help you speech.
The ONE thing that she has found out of EVERYTHING she has done is contrasting!! It is 2 separate mineral baths. 1 is at 110 degrees and the other is at 40 degrees.

And this is just a few hours after contrasting
The closest place to contrast for her is a 5-6 hour drive. Which is almost impossible in the winters and hard to do during the summers.
After much talk with contractors we have found out it would take $25,000 for us to build her a contrasting baths so she can do it everyday. We are hoping that it will help her internal organs help heal themselves.
Help me, help this amazing woman who’s world has been turned upside down where even everyday things are a challenge.
