Hello,
My name is Alden Shadrick and due to horrible miscommunication, I need help.
Today myself and my significant other received word that our property management company will be filing for eviction tomorrow (December 10th). We were puzzled because recently my significant other lost their job and we had communicated this fact with our property management company, and were left with the impression that everything was fine. Unfortunately, that communication was not put into our record and they are being very obtuse about working out some arrangement.
Having spoken with them they want the full amount we owe. Regretably, my family does not have enough money coming in to cover a payment arrangement which they want and also be able to cover regular bills, doctor's appointments for my significant other, and food. I am making enough right now for us to barely get by, and for whatever reason no one seems to be interested in hiring my pregnant wife.
Fortunately, the amount owed is not as bad as it could be and it takes time for an eviction to go through and be processed. So there is time to fix this. I am going to be calling some assistance programs, but their offices are closed right now and I have no idea if they can actually help or not. It is quite possible that this gofundme will not be necessary, but it is good to have alternative sources of aid.
The money raised by this will all go towards paying off the back rent that is owed, to avoid an eviction. I am immensly greatful to anyone who has just taken the time to read this. I welcome any amount that you can spare to be donated. Ideally, if you can donate at minimum 26 dollars minimum, that would be much appreciated. Alternatively, if you would like to donate more than 26 dollars I would be most greatful. However, any amount you can spare would really help out.
