Mission Trip to Uganda

As a college student studying education a seed was planted in my heart. That seed was a school in Murfreesboro named Providence Christian Academy. A school where the mission is to teach students to seek God's truth and equip them with the tools for a lifetime of learning. I prayed that I would one day teach and be apart of the wonderful works of Providence. My prayer was answered in July of 2009 as I began the new school year teaching Pre-Kindergarten! Early on in my career, I discovered at PCA it was important to serve others. One ministry of focus was Divine Care.
Through the wonderful families of PCA our school was introduced to the works that Divine Care Ministries have done for the children of Uganda. PCA quickly became attached to their ministry through giving and prayer. You can see their website through the following link: Divine Care Ministries. The school established by Divine Ministry named Divine Grace became our "sister school". After many trips from PCA families, the stories told and pictures shared with our school, I was desperate to go.
After 5 years, I am following my heart asking the Spirit to lead me where my trust is without borders. At the end of this month, I will travel with a group from PCA to Uganda to visit, teach, and most importantly love on these precious children. I know what these children will teach me will be far greater than anything I could ever teach them. I am filled with excitement anticipating what the Lord will show me on this journey.
Dear friends and family, I ask that you join me in prayer for the group going to Uganda. If you feel led in giving towards my trip I would be grateful. My goal shown on this page will cover the cost of my flight, accommodations, and my medical preparation for travel. I appreciate you all!
