Jon Frye is the District Chief at Loveland-Symmes Fire Department.  He has been a Fireman for over 20 years.  He was born on May 20, 1973 and raised in Milford, Ohio.  Jon is supported by his loving fiance Teresa, his 16 year old daughter Lillian, and his 7 year old son Jaxon.  Also by his side is his loving Mother Alma, Brother Kevin, and sisters Karen, Lisa and Stephanie.  He is also surrounded by an abundment amount of other family & friends, who strive daily without a second of thought, to be by Jon's side.  Whether it be food, lawn care, supportive visits, phone calls & texts, etc, the outpouring of love for Jon is endless.  His family, his friends and his Fire Department Family have been a CONSTANT inspiration.  Now, we turn to you, in hopes of giving back to a man who has dedicated his life to the service of others.  We want to give you some backround on Jon, so that his love and support may be extended further, and you can have a chance to know who this amazing person is and why he needs your help.

On Wednesday, July 23, 2014, Jon was shockingly diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML)...  What started with what was "thought" to be just a simple nagging virus, turned into something so much bigger and devastating.  Prior to this date, Jon's life was that of typical and perfect life.  A new-found love consumed his personal time by planning their soon-to-be dream wedding, that is upcoming March 23, 2015 in Walt Disney World.  Then devastation struck, and flipped his world spiraling downward...the word no one wants to hear, CANCER, at 41 years old.  How could this be?

Since that heavy-hearted day, just a little over a month ago, everything has changed.  Medical bills are piling up in addition to living expenses that must go on.  At this point there is significant ongoing treatment and testing needed, such as Chemotherapy, miscellaneous medications, and the high possibility that he still yet may need a bone marrow transplant...just to name a few.  You can understand that Jon and Teresa's income is just not enough to cover the necessary treatments to get Jon well.  While Jon is off work, Teresa also has/will have a substantial amount of lost days and wages, as she is his primary caregiver.

Lets try and take one less burden off of Jon & Teresa's plate.  His focus should be concentrated solely on beating this disease and returning to the happy and "normal" life he deserves.

In addition to the abundant amount of prayers, we thank you in advance for helping to relieve this financial burden.
