<div>Hello everyone, I am Ahmed Nabil Al-Madhoun, 25 years old, studying for a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, fourth level, at Al-Quds Open University. I was supposed to graduate, but unfortunately the war prevented that. My family of 9 and I were living in the north of the Gaza Strip, safe and stable, but when the devastating war came, they asked us to evacuate to the south of the Gaza Strip, to a place with no shelter. This is where the great suffering began, as we took refuge in a torn, dilapidated tent, where there are no services here near the sea in the Al-Mawasi area. Life is difficult, here, we have been fighting cold and starvation for over two years, basic goods are very expensive.

<div>We have been exposed to danger many times and unfortunately we are still exposed to the risk of death every day, perhaps not because of war and bombing, but there are many reasons, including famine, environmental pollution, severe cold, and malnutrition. I address my message to you, my family and I, and I hope that this campaign will be a hope for us to meet our needs, stay alive, and restore what the war machine has destroyed, and strengthen our steadfastness in the tents.
