My name is Dan Torres and I started this page, in order to pay my outstanding bills.
I'm sure, I'm just like a lot of y'all, in having been laid-off due to Covid-19. I've applied for over 2,000 job openings and counting. I'm trying not to get too discouraged in my job search because the stakes are just too high and difficult to contemplate. 
Just now, myself, my wife, youngest stepdaughter, and my granddaughter live here together. We have been fortunate with lenders and creditors allowing payment deferrals but as of this month, these deferrals are being declined. As well as unemployment benefits set to expire just after Christmas.

My stepdaughter works in the medical field and is fortunate to be an essential employee. She is also dealing with ongoing health problems, pre-covid. My wife is providing help to my granddaughter as she participates in "Zoom" schooling throughout the day. My granddaughter is considered a "special needs" child and believe me, she is "special" in every way!

I'm turning to y'all for help and asking for charity to continue to provide a roof over my family's head, in what seems like desperate and terrible times.
I am thankful for what has been provided to me and my family and I know we are all struggling but I find myself asking for help.
