DMVAG Art Gallery
(Pictured above I am wearing one if my designed and sewn dresses)
My name is Dalny Valdes, born in California on January 24th 1968, the daughter of Sergio F. Valdes, (DOD 11/1989), a WWII Navy Veteran, MIT graduate Electrical Engineer and artist. I am a Singer with SAG/AFTRA and a visual artist and hold several U.S. copyrights of my artwork, which I create by myself and have over a 300 artworks collection to my name.I'm raising money to fund my art gallery in the way of buying art supplies for example large and small canvases, paint brushes, oil paint, wooden frames, etc.. in order to sell my artwork on my eBay store under my art gallery of DMVAG (Dalny Marga Valdes Art Gallery) I would also use these funds to buy a larger eBay store in order to list a larger product line, (art original oil paintings and reproductions). I would also use these funds to contract my art reproductions for example canvas prints and photographs in order to sell a larger selection of products on my eBay store which currently has a 100 product capacity, (I'm almost at capacity and would want to purchase a 350 product capacity store). My art gallery DMVAG is free and clear of any and all business debt, so any donations are utilized immediately to build up the gallery and save the funds in a savings account that I will account for every donation to be used for any expenses that my art gallery requires, such as to buy a printer to be able to print UPS shipping labels, etc. All of my artwork you see is created and painted solely by myself, Dalny Valdes.I will also use donation funds to purchase 2 pallet skids from Home Depot and a pallet banding and buckle set so that I can ship out my Gallery's collection as a whole thus far in case of art Gallery sale.
ABOUT YOUR DONATION
Art Gallery reorganization 12-2021
I've been looking for a way to compliment my Art Gallery- not only to compliment it, but to step back and get a fresh perspective from time to time. I thought my acting sag/aftra was that "compliment", I was mistaken. My compliment is my fashion design business, which is really an extention of my art gallery, I look at fabric in a very similar way that I do a blank canvas. This is why I am approaching the public from the perspective of my Dress design and crafting label D M.Valdes by DMVAG, or my art gallery "front", if you will. I can have a more conventional business to attract public attention and still operate and work in my art gallery which is now my "foundation" to my art and fashion enterprise, (through reorganization i.e. the purchase of domain name D.M.Valdes by DMVAG), I call D.M.Valdes by DMVAG which is my garment label as well.
Please be notified that any donations made to DMVAG Art Gallery will be utilized to help facilitate my art and fashion enterprise with the majority going into DMVAG Art Gallery. Donated funds will be utilized for both dress shop and art gallery, with the dress shop acting as an independent endeavor as well as an "advertising tool" for my art gallery. For example if I were to open a shop or storefront the sign would read D.M.Valdes by DMVAG and I would plan to have at least 60% of the shop DMVAG Art Gallery with my fashion designs in the window displayed next to my oil paintings for sale. I've learned that it's hard to have an art gallery stand alone, a public draw is needed and fashion (clothing) is that relatable element. All sales made by my label will go to DMVAG Art Gallery and my gallery will in turn support my label (in a conservative manner), Actually my book Art of Valdes is the way I'm going now. I will list some of my fashion designs on eBay shortly.
I'd like to start saving any future donations in order to have my book published and distributed of my artworks collection. I have a 1 finished prototype vook that Ive listed for on Amazon. Art of Valdes is a 700 page color paperback 6x9" with 677 illustrations of primarily my artwork from 1he 1970s through 2022 and a biography and autobiography. Ive been contacted by a reputable publishing house through my copyright. They require about $12,000. to put Art of Valdes on the book market.
Future donations would be held in a savings account, untouched, and used solely for the purpose of hiring a book publishing house. Account balance sheet would be available upon request and until such time as the funds are utilized I would post and show receipts for book publishing fees.
