The Cruz family (Harvey Victims)


My name is Len Cruz, I am a Hurricane Harvey Survivor.
I am 25 years old & I am a barber & have a family of 3, My wife, mom, & younger brother.
We're obviously not the only ones affected by this horrible tragedy but anything at this point would really help us. I live in the northeast part of houston (9126 talton st) we were rescued by boats on Monday evening we didn't have anything with us but one trash bag with just our papers the rest of the bags were lost on the way. Our House was not insured and our vehicles were not full coverage so we will have to start from zero just like so many other people. The hurricane took everything away from me and my family, our house, clothes, cars, shoes, everything you can think of, fortunately not our lives.
We were stranded in the water for 2 days without shelter, food, or clothes.
We are now sheltered in The GRB convention center how ever once this nightmare is over we have no place to go or live. I am asking if you can please help donate, anything at this point will help us even if it's the smallest of donations. It will go to repairing most of our damaged home to the best of our ability Including tile, sheet rock, repair or replace damaged cars and even as much as being able to repair or repair appliances such as our fridge  or microwave to at least have a hot meal. 
I have never experienced or witnessed something so sad watching my mother cry because we lost the only home we ever knew. We have no other family in houston and it will be hard for us to find a place to live without money. May god bless us all and our city.
