Dmitri Medical Fund

On Tuesday Jan 30th Dmitri and his brother Clyde ran out the door and down the street, ending up being hit by a car.  Clyde only ended up with scrapes and strains but Dmitri was not so lucky.  His femur was shattered along with the ball socket on his pelvis and his sacral iliac crest was shifted.  He also bruises and ripped up legs.  He will be undergoing surgery on Thursday Feb 1st to set a screw to attach the sacral iliac to the spine once again and have his left leg amputated.

Dmitri was one of 7 puppies that we raised since they were one month old.  Our son chose him at one week old as the pup he wanted.  He deals with severe anxiety and panic attacks and Dmitri is his support dog.
